Bought these because I am an overpronator and have been much my life (foot rolls to the outside in my gait and the soles of my shoes wear down first and most) and in the past five years it's shifted a bit so that my pinky, fourth and third toe have been smashing against each other and creating gnarly calluses. A few week ago I started to have pains in my second toe as well, accompanied by some inflammation that began to concern me. I purchased these to help keep my toes from impacting each other when I am doing my daily physical activity, and they work very well for that.A draw back I've noticed is that when I wear them to class, where I sit for probably 2-4 hours at a time without much movement, my feet and toes are prone to swell. I do not blame this product for my edema, but if you have existing problems with swelling in your feet you're going to want to be able to remove these fairly quickly.Overall I am satisfied. The one pair I have been wearing wash up and seem to be holding up really well so far, though I've only been wearing it a week.
