Do not buy - too fragile. Instead of HT2

Edit (2015-02-07) The telescopic part of the headband is broken, as in the other photo. Do not buy this version. Buy instead: Bluedio T2S (Turbine 2 Shooting Brake) Stereo Bluetooth Headphones Wireless Headphones Bluetooth 4.1 Headset Hurrican Series In-Ear Headphones Gift Bag (White) It has a metal band. it is easy to break. Unfortunately, I easily see this possibility. There are heads that feel like they give a lot and there are heads that feel like they will bend to a certain point and then break. Needless to say, this is the last one. As long as I'm fine I try to be careful with them, not tossing them in my bag, dropping them on the table, etc. Since they still work like new, here's my take on them: They're very good for $30. They have excellent noise isolation, very good bass and clear mids. (I don't have very good hearing, so I can't comment on the high frequencies.) The controls are well-placed if you're right-handed. I think it's not that hard to use with your weaker hand. The movement is effectively achieved behind the right ear with the thumb. The controls are spaced apart so a light touch can easily tell them apart. My only complaint is the seemingly obligatory blue flashing light on the side. Although it doesn't bother me, I can easily see it bothering someone sitting next to me. I wrapped it in duct tape. On its own I would give 5 stars but I'm demoting one for fragility. I am sure that using ABS will not be much more expensive than using PVC.

Pros
  • Not only usable for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...
