And then it broke: Tools & Equipment

Re feedback that I was a good product but unfortunately broke less than a year later, the pressure control valve in the pressure gauge is no longer tight, so The gauge deflates the tire when you read the pressure. The damage is not the result of heavy use or mishandling, this unit has been well cared for. I am someone who pays attention to tire pressure and tire wear. This block is great. Three things I like: kPa and psi are clearly labeled, the divisions are spaced for an accurate reading. The pressure relief valve ensures the accuracy of draining. You can gently press the valve to release a small amount of air, which allows you to more accurately adjust the tire pressure. Finally, if after deflating and repressurizing the valve, the needle often does not reach the true pressure value due to the momentum of the needle vibration, this pressure gauge offers some resistance to it, but the air release valve simply quickly and accurately deflates the needle to the correct pressure value. Only one change I would make, the valve section is made for trucks at a pickup angle, for normal cars you don't need that, a straight valve stem would be easier. If you are looking for a precision mechanical valve, this is it.
