My Favorite Shoulder Pad
The usual method is to get a VCT style film camera plate, but I went with this one because it looked even more comfortable - and it is! You can see my friend Tom holding my F55 with this shoulder pad in my photo. I set it up so that when I put the camera on a tripod I can use two separate sets of 15mm rails and keep the matte box.
Pros
- The mounting plate has anti-slip protection to prevent accidental removal of the QR plate. Wing nut with the ability to change the position of the handle to tighten or loosen to make a QR quick release plate.
