Optimum GPS – Glaze Polish Seal

Recently detailed my 07 Frontier that I have had since it was New. Although it's hand washed/waxed every two weeks at the local car wash, I only wash the truck every two years or so, which I do myself. However, the paintwork is in excellent condition. This time I chose some Optimum products after reading some positive reviews. Washed and then covered the truck with clay. I then used the Optimum GPS with a handheld tablet (Chemical Guys BUFX_202). Application was easy and removal with a microfiber cloth was effortless. The results were excellent and the dark gray metallic flake paint looked almost new. Leave on until the next day and then wash again, then treat with Opti-Seal and then apply Optimum Car Wax. Hey, my truck glows with inner light! The products are very effective and easy to use. I've been here for a while and that's why I particularly appreciate the easy-to-use sprays that manufacturers are offering today, in this case Optimum's products have been a hit with me. I'm sure there are others, but as I said, I only do this every two years, so my experience and familiarity with these types of products is limited. So five stars for Optimum GPS. Great results and easy to use. The only thing I could add is don't be too careless and let the spray fly where you don't want it. I wish I was a little more careful about this and next time I'll know I just have to take a little more time. The next day when I washed the truck again before applying Opti-Seal I noticed spatter/splash from the GPS I had applied the night before; on the glass, window base and wipers, rubber strips etc. It all came off of course, but it took a lot of effort or trouble in some cases. In fact, some of the spatter on the body cover is still there, despite having been attacked with a high-pressure water hose for some time. Eventually I'll get a brush and take care of it, but removing it from visible surfaces after it's dried was a pain. live and learn Perhaps knowing that those random drops and splashes (on the still unwashed truck bed!) have withstood a steady pinpoint jet of high-pressure water without deteriorating in the slightest may be a sign of the protective qualities of the GPS. .On the other hand, Optimum Car Wax can be applied to all surfaces so the waxing part of this total job took only 20-30 minutes with amazing results. If your paint is in very good clean condition to begin with, then I find applying Optimum GPS is a simple and very effective act of kindness to your car that takes almost no time or effort. My parting words of wisdom regarding all vehicle details. Have plenty of clean microfiber towels on hand.
