Bought to replace a handle that broke on the lid of my glass jug after about ten years of use. I had to use my drill press to drill out the center of the nut and bolt that connected the original handle to the glass top. I tried using pliers but I was afraid I would slip off and badly scratch or break the glass cover. Once maintained, installation is very easy. I liked the shape of the dish holder and the green color that goes with the white pan. I'd probably just go with the standard white pencil if it didn't have a utensil holder. I'd almost prefer it didn't come as a pair for my purpose. I think if it ever breaks or a friend casually mentions that the lid handle is broken then I'll have a spare handle. Until then, it sits in a drawer or trash can, waiting for something to happen.
