I recently bought a 4K 8 camera NVR system for my home and I really like it. I have set up many systems for friends with Ring, Lorex and others. I chose Reolink because I wanted a 4K system and the price was right. I liked the system so much I added a 9th camera which was a PTZ and it was a great addition. Installation was easy with the template they give for the cameras and everything worked like POE (Power over Ethernet). With POE, you don't need to power the camera. We were in business the moment I connected it. This whole system was very easy to install and use. The phone app simplifies setup. All you have to do is install the app and scan the barcode and the system will contact you. All cameras were plug and play connected and instantly recognized by the NVR system. 3TB HD works with all cameras with 4K recording for about 7 days, then old files will be deleted. If you're going on a two-week vacation, just quickly switch each camera to a lower resolution and you'll get more storage. Night vision is great. This whole system forces me to use all 16 channels. Can't comment on customer support as it was so basic I didn't need it.
