I thought Hobart was a good brand but apparently not? They didn't even look good in the packaging. The label on the acetylene side was coated with some kind of goo that smudged the labels and both were dirty despite the unopened blister. The label also has a prominent "Made in China" which is not shown here. They are also very restrictive, but Hobart does not provide guidance on flow compensation. The biggest disadvantage, however, is that they consist of two parts. The two halves appear to be bonded together, and the threads holding the two halves together are right-hand threaded on both the oxygen and acetylene sides. This means that if you try to tighten the acetylene side, you will end up loosening the joint between the two halves. Save yourself a little more money, but a cheaper pair is obviously made in China for half the price of the Revain.
