I paid extra for this after being convinced it was made in the USA. THIS IS CHINESE. Refunds include shipping costs and a restocking fee. I haven't found a way to test the switch either. It is currently installed on my boat and I hope Minnkota does not sell faulty imports. Hence only 3 stars for the quality, I don't know if it works when I need it.
