I've used cheap nonwoven shopping bags for years, but they don't last long and won't stay open when empty. Also, they are difficult to clean once food gets inside. These tote bags are perfect! Great for grocery shopping, organizing car storage, or carrying almost any small item. You can also use them to store toys, clothes and other things on the shelves. I open them in my cart before I start shopping and after I check out the clerk puts everything back in and I head to my car. I just take each bag and put them right in the car - I don't have to spend time packing groceries. Even when I get home, thanks to the long straps, I can carry two at a time or lift the heavier one with the two handles on the sides. They are very easy to clean up if something spills. I will buy 3 more and throw away all my old bags.
