I use a mix of loose and packaged tea depending on my preference and I've struggled to get a really good infusion with my loose leaf tea. I have one of those animal shaped teapots which are very cute but useless for making tea. The same goes for silver bullet brewers; I think the tea leaves are too full. This teapot is great for providing enough hot water space to move loose tea around for a good brew. The size is perfect, I use it in a standard cup. The only trick is to clean it; I've found that it's best to leave the tea in the teapot until you're done with the cup. Then place the teapot back in the mug and fill it to the brim with water - this should be almost all of the tea. Repeat the process and you should be good to go! I highly recommend this product.
