Review on 🐱 ZIWI Peak Canned Wet Cat Food: All-Natural, High-Protein, Grain-Free & Limited Ingredient Diet with Superfoods by Leah Ramirez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Canned cat food is well above average with quality ingredients.

I feed this canned food as part of a very old Tibetan Spaniel's diet rotation along with Tiki brand canned food which is mostly fish free. She is 17 years old and has very little tolerance for commercial or homemade products. She eats these just fine, although she prefers broth and chopped tiki meat to pies. I also like her eating ZiwiPeak due to the higher organ meat content, which is absent from most tiki formulas except for their "After Dark" line. . Not on the other lists either. In my current case, taurine isn't listed among the ingredients, perhaps a typo, isn't essential to the dog's life, and my cats don't get it as a complete diet (their staple diets are frozen mice, chicken, and supplemented quail). with some preserved and freeze-dried raw). Overall, the brand looks very high quality and, unlike Tiki, relies more on food ingredients than dietary supplements. High quality natural ingredients at a premium price. In my opinion it's worth it. To update. According to the manufacturer, the feed contains more than enough natural taurine due to the high proportion of meat and internal organs. That makes sense and explains why it's not listed as a supplement. Most cat foods require additional taurine due to borderline (or virtually none) meat/internal ingredients.
