I understand that most young people can't tell the difference between leather and plastic. As I am an elderly person who bought it for my granddaughter and immediately returned it I can advise you that there are several ways to report this. First, you can smell them. Letaher has a distinct smell. Second, try scraping them and seeing if they are fibrous. The plastic doesn't move. A few years ago we would not have considered plastic shoes for children's feet. the skin adapts, so leaves no blisters. Also lets feet breathe and lasts much longer. Plastic shoes usually have scuffs on the toes and age after the first wear. Also, the plastic gets hot and I don't want my granddaughter's feet soaking in warm plastic all day. Yes, quality leather shoes cost more, but you get what you pay for.
