This foot is AWESOME! This has allowed me to embroider fantastic straight lines on street marine vinyl. It attached easily! I used a size 4 stitch length on my hd3000 with a size 16 Schmetz leather needle, upper tension at 6 and 1/4 turn on the lower bobbin. body screw. I used Coat & Clark outdoor thread and am very happy with the combination of thread, needle and presser foot. A great bonus, there is an adjustable guide leg that keeps everything in line. I also used double sided staple tape to hold the pieces together. , perhaps it helped the foot to guide them evenly.
