So in general I am satisfied with this cage. I'll start with the cons of this cage. It was packaged in a box that was inside a larger box. There was no protection (bubble wrap, wrapping paper) which I think caused small cracks in the upper plastic part. I think the company needs to start using bubble wrap or wrapping paper to protect it. The bottom level has been broken off where the ramp goes so it's likely to fall down if hit from below. It's not that big of a problem for me as I have a dwarf hamster and only weigh down the ramp with litter. The instructions were terrible but it only took me about 20 minutes to put it together. The food bowl is huge and the wheel is slippery (my hamster slides off when walking). The water bottle was pretty cheap too, but I had a glass bottle which I ended up replacing. The bars were an issue and I'm pretty sure I turned them upside down, but that was the only way to get them on. Now about pluses. First, it's a big cage. More than enough space for my little man. I like the big lid on top and the big tubes. I was also surprised at how easily the tubes fit together. It's not a bad cage to clean as it's pretty easy to take apart. The levels have a raised side to protect your hamster from falling. I like that there is a dedicated place for a water bottle. It sits in the hole much better than if it just sat in the wire. My hamster loves the little house I put in the bottom of the cage. It also came with a small bag of bedding for the house and my hamster seems to love it. To be honest, I don't see any way he could have escaped either. Oh and this cage arrived within 2 days. So, despite some downsides, I would buy this cage again. I am satisfied and would recommend it to a friend.
