That's a hammer! I also have Dead On's Annihilator, so I know they make good instruments. It is a hammer of a more traditional shape, made entirely of steel. The handle is non-slip and absorbs some of the impact when hitting hard objects. It drives a nail like nothing else and is well balanced. The only problem is the grip just below the head. It's a fairly thin piece of steel that you could probably bend so it doesn't have to be pushed from the side. Otherwise the boy will hammer in a nail!
