These calipers are very accurate and have a high build quality as you would expect from Mitutoyo. I bought this particular model because it supports SPC output. I received a "USB Input Tool" cable (model 06ADV380C) that is compatible with this caliper model and it works great! During the measurement, press the button and the caliper enters the measurement directly into your computer (Excel or whatever you want). This greatly simplifies data entry for repetitive measurement tasks (e.g. measuring many parts or measuring many dimensions of the same object). All Mitutoyo equipment offered by Revain, I recommend buying only from Revain LLC. Third party vendors on Revain may not send you a genuine Mitutoyo product. However, the goods from the seller Revane LLC are genuine.
