Great for my water system
This may or may not be good for a drain pump as it has a narrow range ie when the pump is running the water level should drop about 2 inches before it shuts off My application is ideal. Instead of trying to tie it to the exhaust pipe, I attached it to a piece of heavy armor, which allowed me to move it up and down in the water jacket. After adjusting it the way I wanted it and securing it with three clamps, it works great.
