Great tool for deep and hard to reach spark plugs

I like to clean the spark plug threads every time I change spark plugs and this tool does it well. While this may seem excessive to some, I prefer to be extra cautious with modern aluminum heads. The thread can easily break and be damaged, and repairing a torn cork is not interesting. It doesn't take a lot of time to use this tool and I find using this tool with some oil on the threads works very well. This is a tap, not a tap, but you still need to be careful when using it. The threads aren't as sharp as a regular thread set, but I see this as a positive when working with aluminum heads. The slim profile is excellent and one of the main reasons I chose this particular product. A thin profile is now a requirement as many cars require it, so a non-thin profile is just overkill if you have this unless your needs call for a short length. Can't give 5 stars as I'm not very happy with the 3/8 drive. It's not very strong and the internal locking ball grooves don't work that well. This could have gotten 5 stars if one of these had been replaced with a bullet hole which usually holds up much better. Although this is usually a percussive thing, I'm not going to act here, just hold it and shape it so the chaser doesn't come from the extension hen used. I would buy one again anytime assuming the total cost is still there. ARES informed me that even though it is a type of cutting tool, they actually offer a lifetime guarantee on this tool. Keep a light coat of oil on it while it's in the box and you should be happy with that. Please note that I am not a professional and my statements should be interpreted as such.
