I couldn't charge the iPad Air 4 from a USB-A charging station, nor from a USB-3 hub connected to the computer. iPad not recognized by iTunes on PC. I've had better luck charging my Kindle Fire via the microUSB port and charging my Android tablet. The scope of delivery includes adapters for microUSB and USC-C. It also has a nice metal disk that you can put magnetic tips on when it's not installed on the device. I wanted to protect the USB-C port on my iPad Air 4 from damage, but unfortunately it didn't work. The magnetic mount limits the stress on the connector.
