I was told that NO camshaft position sensor works in 300 meter cars other than Mopar. I bought for $14 which was enough for about 9 good starts. Then came back the sporadic long start, random random shutdowns, and cruise control not working (yes, cruise control doesn't work properly with DTC P340 and/or P344). I bought a Mopar sensor from a junkyard for $5 a year ago. Lately the car has gone back to its usual shit, complete with 340s and 344s and cruise control drama. I've always known the Standard as a brand I had no problem with, so I decided to give this one a try. I just put it in the car and so far it has started properly several times. I hope this continues. A major difference between Mopar sensors and the aftermarket is the strength of the magnetic "pull" at its end. I can pick up a key with magnetism in a Mopar sensor. Both aftermarkets have virtually no magnetism.
