Review on ๐Ÿ’™ Wireless Bluetooth Over-the-Ear Headset - Sony WHXB900N Noise Cancelling Headphones in Blue (Amazon Exclusive) by Riko Doi แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

Before buying, I looked at different models of headphones for a very long time and in the end I decided not to take the Sony WH-CH710N, but these ones right away, since I already have a Sennheiser HD 4.50R, which, in theory, will be a higher class than the Sony WH-CH710N, so I didnโ€™t see the point in taking them, but here the class will obviously be higher for sure. Also on the list were the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT, which everyone praises because of the quality sound, I compared three headphones and here is my verdict: - Sennheiser HD 4.50R: Good noise, compact, looks sturdy but cheap for the price. The sound compared to the ears is lower, as if from a bucket, although by the way, the middle and high frequencies transmit well, but the low ones are very bad. There is no bass, except with an equalizer; - Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT: They look solid, the noise is not bad, 40 hours of battery charging, by the way, also touch control. In terms of sound, they are good, songs at high volume do not mix into mush, unlike Sony, but otherwise, the difference is hardly noticeable and will be significant only for aesthetes (but it is worth recognizing in favor of Audio-Technica anyway). Bass is there, but weak, in my opinion. It is better to take them if listening to music is your priority; - Sony WH-XB900N: Low frequencies are very well transmitted, like explosions and shots, just a buzz, but mids and highs are already worse. At high volume, songs often mix into a mess with music, which makes it unpleasant to listen to, but if you listen to medium volume, everything is tip-top. The bass is the best, it hits the ears nicely and the equalizer is not needed. As for me, they are good for games, for music they will probably be worse than the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT, but since for me the sound in games will be more important than listening to music (although I do the second one much more often), Sony is still my choice . The disadvantages are not particularly critical, but they leave a fly in the ointment in a barrel of honey and therefore mix impressions about them. In the photos I also added in comparison with my Sennheiser HD 4.50R.

Pros
  • - Very well emit low-frequency sounds; - Excellent bass; - Good design; - Comfortably sit on the ears and do not press; - By touching the right ear, the sound in the headphones is muffled, and the surrounding amplifies and you can listen to what they say to you; - Hold a charge for a long time; - Sufficiently functional application on the phone; - Very compact when folded, fit even in a jacket pocket; - Lungs;
Cons
  • - Noise isolation at rest almost does not muffle sounds, in this regard, these headphones are even worse than the Sennheiser HD 4.50R. If you listen to music, then you doubt that you will hear something, of course, but if you play, then periodically the surrounding sounds will still reach your ears (for example, the noise from the operation of the system unit); - They look somewhat flimsy or something, sometimes you are afraid to even take them wrong, I'm not talking about dropping them; - The touch control is very inconvenient, of course I use it for only a week, but you can get used to the button control even during this period, I have not got used to the touch control. Yes, I do not deny that pressing on the right ear and the music will muffle is a cool function (although it was worth doing it on pressing, not holding, otherwise the hand gets tired sometimes if suddenly someone decided to talk to you for longer than a couple of phrases), but the rest it was necessary to do it on mechanical buttons, not touch ones, it may be technologically advanced, but not convenient, because you donโ€™t see what you press, while the fur. buttons without problems in the form, you can understand what and where; - Charging cable included, could have been longer; - Bluetooth catches not as well as Sennheiser, although Sony will have a newer version of the Bluetooth module;

Has some pros Good sound, good battery, soft stuff on the ears Has some cons They squeeze the head a little, things that are too soft on the ears are very easily deformed.
