This bassinet is big! Haven't used it yet but wanted to look in here and tell people to check the measurements before buying. The description says that a 'regular' bed sheet will suffice, but that is not the case at all. I had to look for top and bottom sheets to fit the mattress to keep it from bunching up as the 'standard' sheets are all 16 inches and this mattress is 18 inches and a rectangle instead of an oval like that most room beds. I didn't think the extra 2 inches would make a huge difference with stretch sheets, but THEY DO. I actually just bought replacement sheets instead of room bed sheets because nothing else worked - and they still fit snugly, but at least they don't knock the mattress over. I was on the verge of sending the whole bassinet back and found a mattress that looked more like a standard size mattress because I was so disappointed. I will leave an updated review once the baby is born!
