The built-in mattress is cheap and thin. In time you will understand how it works, but the instructions that come with it need more help. Obviously made in China.

I am impressed by this baby bath. Very stable, well-made and easy to assemble carrycot. The assembly took no time. I like that the color is very versatile and delicate. This bassinet is big! Haven't used it yet but wanted to look in here and tell people to check the measurements before buying. The description says that a 'regular' bed sheet will suffice, but that is not the case at all. I had to look for top and bottom sheets to fit the mattress to keep it from bunching up as the 'standard' sheets are all 16 inches and this mattress is 18 inches and a rectangle instead of an oval like that most room beds.
