As a simple dictation machine, I give it a clear assessment. Camera support is very good, but that's about it. The NVR REQUIRES the use of Internet Explorer to view in a web browser that is no longer supported by Microsoft. The xmeye app they recommend for viewing your phone requires you to allow the app to access your contacts, microphone and make calls, which is a major security issue for me. The app will not load at all until you grant it these permissions. I tried to use the DDNS server function to connect to the NVR via internet and again only via internet explorer so no other IP camera application works with this NVR. If you don't need a basic NVR, this is ideal for you. It works with my Zosi, Smonet, SV3C and Amcrest cameras so camera support is great but setting up remote viewing is next to impossible unless using older software like IE or their schematics app.
