Effective for lowering the shower head a few inches
I've used this to lower the shower head a few inches and it worked without noticeably affecting the water flow. Installation is a bit tricky as you need a wrench to hold the shower head itself and one to hold it, which I expected given its swiveling ability. I didn't need the extra pivot, but it still worked well. I recommend some tape on the threads to ensure a tight fit.
