This stool was just what my granddaughter needed for washing hands. She found that she could also use it to help her grandmother in the kitchen. I even used the outside to replace some lightbulbs. Trust me, this stool was weight tested with me. I would say this is a stool every home should have, buy it you won't regret it. Good to have around the house, basement and garage.
