WeChip Air Remove offers excellent value for money. This is better than the remote control NVIDIA provided with the Shield TV Box. And unlike any other air remote I've tried. All functions work with NVIDIA. I need to be able to use the "mouse" functionality for some of the apps I run and it works great. Pros: 1) Value (great price) 2) All major functions work with NVIDIA (even the back button) 3) Keyboard on the back for typing (rather than searching and clicking the onscreen keyboard) 4) Battery life is much better as standard NVIDIA remote control 5) Blue indicator light for mouse mode and alternate keyboard function. Cons: 1) Use of blue letters on keyboard for alternate alphanumeric input (hard to see in a dimly lit room 2) Mouse function does not turn off automatically (blue light flashes when mouse is on, indicating low battery) 3 ) no IR functions TV backlight to adjust TV volume* I don't play Android Box so I'm not sure about the remote control game functions. I think it works as well if not better than the standard remote, but I haven't used it for gaming so I can't be sure of that claim. This is a great purchase to replace your NVIDIA Shield TV remote. I would definitely buy this remote again if I need to replace it.
