When I plugged it into my graphics card's display port, it was a little sticky and then I had trouble pulling it out. I have found that you have to squeeze the connector to remove the small metal pins that are there to hold the connector in place during use. That's a good idea, but there wasn't any documentation telling the user to squeeze the connector to unplug it, and it's not at all obvious that it works that way. However, once you know this, the fork works perfectly.
