I have used light up panels in the past and they are amazing little inventions. I always left the power cord plugged into the board itself (which eliminated the dead end problem) and then plugged the USB end into a portable battery whenever I wanted to use the light board. This has worked well for me so far. The light board turns on fine, but the battery pack doesn't seem to realize there's anything on the other end, so it turns off after a short while. At first I thought I had pressed the power button on the light board, but after this happened to me a third time I tried again with my hands on my knees. Same result - it turned itself off after a short time as if it was not connected to anything. I've tried everything including multiple batteries and got the same result. I'm sure it will work fine plugged into the wall, but I don't feel like using it that way. I'm so frustrated and wish I could just go back and buy the same one I had before. It was a waste of money.
