When I first received them, I immediately replaced the supplied silicone eartips with a pair of Comply foam eartips (T-500) from a set I had previously purchased for my KZ-ZSR - Bought headphones. The sound didn't impress me; The bass wasn't as extended as many reviews describe, and the highs felt a bit muffled. I've tried playing them with every type of music and even used them as IEMs a few times; drummer, with the same results. So I started sending it back. A few hours into the return process, I pulled out the other Comply T-500 tips (larger than medium and large) to see if those foam tips were causing the problem. I had the same results regardless. Then I decided to try turning on the included hints and it turns out something good came out of it. The frequency spectrum has expanded significantly; dense, deep, the lower part was absent, and the upper part was not expanded. I have over 25 years of experience in recording, design and live sound, so there's a lot for my ears to pick up. When comparing the included silicone eartips to the Comply T-500 (which many thought should fit the ZS-10 Pro), it was obvious that the inner shaft of the Comply eartips is much longer, allowing the headphone "Connection" is further away from that. I'll investigate if there is a Comply set or another set that fits the ZS-10 Pro exactly.
