As a new owner of a refurbished Macbook pro, I wanted to make sure that it would be well protected and easily distinguished from my husband's macbook from his employer. I purchased the rainbow paint splatter case and I'm very pleased with it. It fits snugly and in two pieces - one for the top and one for the bottom. It also came with a screen protector, which is just like applying a screen protector to your phone screen, and a keyboard cover. I personally didn't like the keyboard cover and how the keys felt with it on, but it didn't hinder typing at all. I find that just to be a personal preference. The colors are vivid and fun. You are able to see the lit up Apple icon through it.When the case arrived, there was a small chip in it. It didn't go all the way through - it's just on the surface. I contacted customer service, who replied promptly with their thoughts on a resolution. However, I decided that it wasn't that noticeable and didn't hinder the case's protection of my computer, so I didn't return it.Overall, I'd recommend this case for anyone looking for a cost effective way to protect their Macbook from scratches and dents.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
