Bought 3 sets of these bulbs with the intention of using them outdoors (like almost everyone who uses mains bulbs?) but decided to give them a go return you. Unfortunately there are several problems. Yes, these grids have 8 light settings, which is nice, but you can only control them with a button on the plug. What is the use of them being connected to the wall from the outside? Second, these are LEDs, and they're not as bright and pretty as the classic incandescent bulbs you're probably used to hanging on your Christmas tree. The only thing I like is the clear wire which is definitely less ugly in daylight than the green wire. But I would have liked impressive, easy-to-use lights at night!
