, I didn't want to have a long traditional HDMI cable going from my GH5 to my Andycine A6 monitor. I also wanted a cable that I didn't have to fold to get away. This HDMI cable is the perfect length from my gh5 to the monitor and is very easy to throw into my Pelican case and I don't have to coil it as it is already coiled in a 'stationary' position. If you traditionally hold your monitor on a hot shoe or with a hot shoe mount, this cable will work great for you. If you tend to find yourself on a shoulder mount while shooting with a magic arm swinging into different positions, you need to look for something that isn't curled up.
