Good for Pi people with portable display

I just needed a cable that would go the distance to my Raspberry Pi. As you can see, I'm using a 13.4 inch portable display with velcro on the back to hang my Pi. And I use this cable for this purpose. It works great.

Read below - audio and video accessories

23-07-2020: The product seemed very good and robust, but it looks like I received a faulty unit. When I tried to get it to work with my gimbal my camera said no signal so I tried that with my other devices and it also said no signal. UPDATE: I contacted the company about a defective cable and they offered to replace it. free for me! Great customer service so far!

Does the job, if a little harsh

I bought this to connect my Raspberry Pi 4 to an external portable display and needed that specific combination of connectors. The product serves its purpose. My only complaint is that the coil is a little tight, requiring the Pi to be held fairly close to the display. Maybe I could stretch it in hopes it wouldn't return to its original length, but I didn't because I don't know if it would affect the cable.

Great solution for connecting two devices

Quality product, well made. The coil cord is really strong, I stretched mine for a day or two to ease the tension. The ends are very well done and there is nothing cheap about it. I use it to connect a Sony A7iii to a SoundDesigns MixPre 3 on camera. I'm hoping the manufacturer makes a rectangular connector as that would be even more ideal for my use and I can't be the only one doing this. need it.

When it works (SmallHD Focus)

Didn't work with SmallHD (Focus) monitor. Tried 2 cameras and they work with the original cable. I had to change one end to fit the end of the monitor but it still doesn't work. I think the screen flashes quickly but doesn't connect. Disappointed that this item does not work and that I have modified it so that it cannot be returned. The quality seems great. It just doesn't work with my app. I have no other way of checking if the item was defective, but I will check one day.

Ideal for hot shoe camera monitors

, I didn't want to have a long traditional HDMI cable going from my GH5 to my Andycine A6 monitor. I also wanted a cable that I didn't have to fold to get away. This HDMI cable is the perfect length from my gh5 to the monitor and is very easy to throw into my Pelican case and I don't have to coil it as it is already coiled in a 'stationary' position.
