The move from 3T to 8Pro

Let me start by saying that for those worried about Revain's Alexa integration, it doesn't even come preinstalled. These complaints are not problems and the people who complained should be ignored imo. This is a fantastic piece of technology. I was a bit worried about having screen issues, but I got lucky. The camera is a huge upgrade from my old 2016 3T and the feel is fantastic. Super smooth, super responsive, super crisp. The only negative is that the included screen protectors were damaged by tiny bits of something that managed to fly into both (can't blame OnePlus for that, because I have animals, but it still sucks. I would have liked a more reliable applicator in the bundle, not just free). Second, the gesture controls at the edge of the screen can be a bit finicky at times, but the included case helps a lot with that. Everything else is awesome. Attached are some photos of my animals with my cell phone. The dog was in portrait mode, the cat in night mode. This ONLY happens in very low light. For example: lying in bed with the lights off and only in some applications. Even if you manually increase the screen brightness a bit, it goes away. If even one corner lamp is on next to you, it goes out. In my tests, Reddit has a slight red cast and YouTube a green cast. These are the only places I've actually noticed it, and as far as I've tested, it's only in dark mode layouts. a very small issue that can and will be fixed or adjusted in future major OxygenOS updates. Anyone who criticizes this as a completely unforgivable negative should take a deep breath and relax. I will deduct a point from my original 5 stars for this, but as far as I understand this does not spoil my experience or life and I see no reason to return the phone. Your mileage may differ from this opinion, but I thought I should update this review.
