The polka dots are darker than the photo but the shirt is of excellent quality.
I would say it's the right size for a 4T if not with little room to grow. I love the quality of these 100% cotton t-shirts! They are so soft and thicker than I expected. I will say the dots (red, yellow, green) were a lot darker than I thought so my daughter can't wear them under white or lighter/sheer dresses and shirts which is fine just wanted to let others know.
