Review on Acxico Pixie DIY Shortwave Radio Kit - 7.023MHz 40M CW Receiver Transmitter with Buzzer LED Transceiver by Crystal Velar

Works very well. There are no assembly instructions but the product photos have a diagram which is sufficient for assembly as it gives component designations with values you can take from the PCB so it's not too difficult. I was able to use this to troubleshoot my Forty 9 Series QRP board that I can't pick up on my SDR (because I'm too cheap to buy a boost converter). I have found that I can hear this kit loud and clear and my 40 9 is receiving on 7.023MHz so this kit is transmitting on 7.023MHz. but my Forty 9's transmit at 28.098MHz (confirmed by my SDR and SW radio. Ooooh, this kit works pretty well and is a good diagnostic tool. If you know how to read the components and follow the diagram, assembly is easy enough for the experienced but may seem difficult for a beginner.
