There are no rubber parts protecting the hood from the fender.
The first photo shows an old (13 year old) factory fastener with a rubber insert that prevents the bonnet from cutting into the fender, but this fastener does not prevent metal to metal contact. I think I could glue on a piece of rubber to replace the missing rubber "bumper" but I'll just buy another one with the missing piece.
