Review on Prepworks by Progressive Ultimate 19-Piece Measuring Cups & Spoon Set: The Perfect Kitchen Tool for Accurate Measurements by Claudia Green

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good price with good care.

Pros: This is probably the most complete set I've found that won't break or scratch the handles and gauge. the cups are slightly rounded; especially great for sharp, soft-edged silicone spatulas (which I prefer). And it comes with 1/8 cup (30ml) as well as 2/3 cup (160ml) which are not included in most kits. In addition, he also has small, kinked and striped spoons. Script is embossed with embossing in both metric and imperial on the grips (for right-handed users). Their prizes are for sale. I was surprised to see the same set literally double the price elsewhere online and I'm glad Revain is selling it at a more realistic price. Cons: It doesn't have 3/4 teaspoon. Handles may be a little thicker and/or set a little higher. You need to get the lighting direction right to see what you have. The plastic they're made of isn't very strong or thick - especially thin on large cups - I wouldn't try to jump out of a tub. Margarine (if I used margarine but you get the idea) or use a stick for 2 cups of flour as the integrity of the starch just isn't there. I doubt I would use handles for cups larger than 3/4. They're kind of flexible. Although they are dishwasher safe, I would hand wash them if you want them to last. I would give 5 stars if done right but add 4 stars because they are rated appropriately for what you get if treated with care.
