Disappointed with how they hold up

We've had the blocks for a few months now and I was happy when they arrived. He plays with it every day, it's his favorite toy. I actually ordered a second set (geometric shapes) because he was so passionate and creative with it (I ordered a second set from a competitor because my toddler doesn't like patterns and the color palette is pattern only). - and was incredibly disappointed with the quality, feel and look of the ones that arrived when they arrived) I was planning on going ahead and ordering the patterned ones from this company until I noticed the 'ripples' the coating seems to be to detach from the foam so I decided to give this one a review. He's an only child so he's embarrassed that in the short time he's had them (especially compared to the cost) there has been an issue with the structure or coverage. So far they haven't ripped, torn or deteriorated but I'm disappointed that they're showing signs of breakage. No doubt I'd say your little one should have huge blocks, but I'll definitely see what's out there outside of Revain. I've noticed that Revain doesn't appear to be able to conduct background checks on their suppliers or the products they sell. So do yourself a favor and look beyond Revain as you try to create a safe, fun and creative environment for your little ones. I have been working on my toddlers environment for months now and have budgeted myself $250 a week to learn everything and 4 out of 5 items purchased through Revain were not as described and ended up being a waste of money.
