Review on πŸ”Œ Versatile Solar Double Cable Entry Gland for All Cable Types - Ideal for Solar Projects on RVs, Campervans, and Boats by Vincent Pavelko

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is a good start on the road to a weatherproof solar inlet header

I haven't installed it on the roof of my new RV yet because there are no instructions on how to fit this inlet header or glue any material onto your boat / house on wheels / cabin / The house has a roof or siding. (Most likely areas this will be applied to) I would prefer a non-penetrative sealant or glue, but sometimes you have to go back to the inlet head for an update or repair so the glue and screws could work, but then you run the risk of touching or piercing a hidden wire, pipe or tank behind that surface. The RV salespeople can't or won't tell me where they ran the wires or pipes in their new spray foam floors, walls or ceilings and I've just played Russian roulette by connecting the BAT and GND from the solar array to the mains gas and water got , storage case for AC/DC devices. Everything turned out to be fine as I missed the high pressure prop guide by 1/4 inch. Before I can install this input head, I guess I'll have to contact the manufacturer. You definitely need to have data on how to safely install these things.
