Review on Uniden MHS75 Waterproof Handheld 2-Way VHF Marine Radio - Black: Submersible, 1/2.5/5 Watt Power, All Marine Channels (USA/International/Canada) by Tommie Lawson

Bought this radio last year, worked great for about 6-8 months but constant use in salt water and not being able to wash it off after each use has definitely ruined the radio. Now it's started to fail, doesn't transmit and the speaker is static all the time. The battery charging ports are glazed and must be cleaned with sandpaper. I would say overall this radio is not waterproof, maybe fresh water proof. but in general salt water eats the radio!
