I've had two of these trays for almost a year now. This is a beautiful rich ebony. It's the perfect color and shape for me, arrived on time and in perfect condition so technically I had no complaints. The legs open and close smoothly, even with heavy food on them, it's not very difficult to open them once to get to the bed. The connection system isn't so loose that the legs open as soon as you take your hand off the base, but also not so tight that it takes a lot of force to force the legs apart. Color and asceticism is exactly what I wanted. I originally ordered the Winsome Wood Sedona bed tray with a curved side, foldable legs and a large handle, but was disappointed to find that the bottoms of the legs were rough instead of flat, causing them to snag on the threads of my duvet and pulled them up . I need something with smooth legs that won't ruin my comforters and quilts. The underside of these legs is rounded and smooth so you can drag them across the bed without snagging or breaking the threads. Eating and drinking surface. It works very well for this purpose and is easy to detach and put away or move around the ottoman when needed. The legs fold into the bottom of the tray allowing the notes to stick out perfectly to attach to my ottoman. Overall I am very happy with his tray and will definitely order again. The price has come down almost $5 since my last purchase and this tray is even cheaper!
