Review on Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Assembly Dorman 902-319 for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Models – Selective Optimization by Ryan Brady

Purchased to replace a leaking original body assembly (110,000+ miles). It fits my 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT 2.0L. Was a little hesitant based on some reviews saying it didn't fit my car but decided to buy based on the overall price compared to other websites. It is important to note that the original heater hoses do not fit this housing. The OEM heater hoses are larger than the fittings on this assembly. However, this was clearly stated in the product description, so I purchased the necessary heater hoses prior to fitting (requires 2009 model year or newer heater hoses). Otherwise it was perfect for the car. Installation was easier than I expected. The coolant was changed less than half a year ago so I didn't drain the system, just disconnected the radiator/heater hoses with minimal loss of coolant. The job was completed in less than 2 hours, but it takes me longer than most when doing repairs. This stopped the coolant leak I was experiencing when using the original case assembly. No leaks yet (about 1 1/2 months)
