Not OEM but can be used with matching hoses

3 stars for the price. Non-OEM, heater hose fittings are smaller than OEM. The only thing you can save is that the connections on the replacement part have the same diameter as the radiator connections. You will need 5/8 diameter heater hoses on both ends and clamps for these connections.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Modern

2009 onwards Dodge Caliber/Jeep Compass = PERFECT FIT

Perfect fit for 2009 onwards Dodge Caliber/Jeep Compass with OEM hoses. The manufacturer's website says that when installing in older vehicles you need to install 2 new 2009 exhaust hoses (different sizes) and everything will work. The seller should really update the list. Perfect for my 2009.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Upgradeable

You will need adapters and clamps, but this is your only option

You will need to purchase adapters and clamps that fit your current hoses. You will have to shorten the existing hoses. Apparently all aftermarket case options for this model are like this. After installation, it no longer overheats. The factory building has a crack. This part fixed the problem. It should come with an adapter and hoses, but they don't. 07 Dodge caliber.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Expected quality Dorman

Installed on a client Chrysler 200 2013 release. Appearance is identical to the production version. However, the block thermostat opens at around 80°C and the standard thermostat opens at 95°C. This is a faulty thermostat as the product description says it is a temperature of 95 degrees. The temperature gauge never goes above ¼ and the engine never reaches operating temperature. Never waste money on Dorman products.

Faulty Thermostat/ But still a great item!

Body material and quality looks good but the thermostat came defective, poor quality, nothing like a Mopar OEM part. First, make sure you order 2009 hoses as they are very difficult to find in a regular store and are out of stock. I had to order them and it took another week to arrive. Despite the problem with the thermostat and hoses, I installed it and it stopped leaking and worked fine!

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • I can't remember but there was something

O-RINGS DO NOT FIT CORRECTLY!

I got this part for my 2013 Dodge Avenger. Appears identical to the OEM at least at first glance, however once fitted the supplied o-rings for the temperature sensor will not fit properly and without this coolant will leak. I had to look for o-rings at various parts stores and they didn't have the ones my mechanic needed for my car. Basically, besides this product, you need a small part to make it work properly, which is unacceptable in my opinion.

Fits my 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT 2.0L

Purchased to replace a leaking original body assembly (110,000+ miles). It fits my 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT 2.0L. Was a little hesitant based on some reviews saying it didn't fit my car but decided to buy based on the overall price compared to other websites. It is important to note that the original heater hoses do not fit this housing. The OEM heater hoses are larger than the fittings on this assembly. However, this was clearly stated in the product description, so I purchased the necessary…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Will not fit all
