My dog is a 120lb English Cream Retriever. I bought these for his elbows since we have hard floors and cement in the backyard. He throws himself on the floor pretty hard and refuses the beds we put inside and outside because he gets too hot. His elbows are like big soft calluses, so sometimes they scratch and bleed. I use coconut oil to relieve dryness and as a natural antibacterial ointment, but he keeps licking it so his hair never grows back. I bought them but he's pretty hairy on his front legs and those elbow pads slip off when he lies down. If I tighten it to the point where they won't ride anymore, it can't get back up because the straps are too tight. So that's the problem, I think the elbow pads are a different type of stretchy, breathable material. Reduce or eliminate pads from driving. The harness seems fine, but in order not to adjust during the day, I think the harness elastic would be much better. Maybe I should just patent it and sell it :) Since I changed every single detail on this item.
