Great little burner for small projects. I use mine to melt Ply-stix's driveway sealant into cracks. There's a lot of repair work to be done and this flashlight is just what you need. I already had one of those 500,000 BTU burners, but it was too powerful and the flame too big for my needs for this project. I then tried a heat gun like you would use for removing paint etc. It worked but was too slow for the amount of work I have. After looking at just about everything, I settled on this 60,000 BTU burner. It is well made and the flame is easy to regulate with the included valve. Lights up from a butane lighter. I had to go to a welding shop to buy an adapter to connect the torch to my existing propane hose. My only problem with the device is the instructions for use. They are not very clear as they seem to cover the various Goss torches. I haven't figured out how to set the pilot so I can go from pilot to full by pushing the lever. When I press the lever, the flame goes out. At the moment I only adjust as needed. I thought I could call Goss but I can't find any support numbers. But I would give 5 stars for this problem.
