First, this tool is accurate. He does what he says he will do. The problem is that it takes a long time. Unlike many tools, this OBD recognized my VIN right away, but the first and only error I encountered was that when it read my VIN, it suggested Lexus, Toyota, and others. . My car is a Lexus, so I chose a Lexus. After what felt like "Loading data, please wait..." for a little over a minute, he compiled a list of Toyota vehicles to choose from. I went through the whole list and there wasn't a single Lexus on it. I spent a good ten minutes selecting other options (seven or eight tries, over a minute for each try) before selecting the Diagnostics menu item and it presented me with a list of automakers, and when I selected Lexus from that list, it was correct my VIN matches the correct model number. The tool only runs a limited number of tests: Engine, Transmission, ABS and SRS. My computer has a non-critical startup error and this tool caught it. Other errors my machine has this tool does not check, so the only thing I knew was found by this tool. The technical aspects of this tool work. The documentation was ok. The feature was as advertised, except I had a hard time fully recognizing my machine and it was surprisingly slow. In fact, you can hear the device clicking as if it were using a relay to select different logic chips to use. . . but it couldn't really be done. . . May? Three stars. Does the job, but similarly expensive tools get the job done, and much faster. Edit - Added star for customer support. I received a message from a supplier that they are constantly updating the product and their engineers are working to make it faster and they even offered to send me an updated version. I declined as I would take their word for it that they recognized the problem and were working to fix it. The seller has also requested a video of the unit which does not show a Lexus but I am unable to do this as it shows my VIN and I do not wish to post it on Revain. sorry seller.
