With every change of cartridge I get more and more insulted. Spending $30 on less than a fluid ounce of black liquid really shows how low HP has sunk as a tech-inspired, pension-hungry, data-gathering scumbag. To top it off, I don't even own the printers this ink was purchased for. Have a seat while I spin yarn for you. A few years ago my relatives (wonderful people) bought 2 identical HP printers for their house and country house. The logic was that if we get the same printer, you install it once and it will work in both places without any fuss. I have many things in law, but engineering or computer skills are not on this list. In fact, these printers have given me at least 40 hours of heartache and I really want to just pick them up and light them up. Here is a summary of the problems I encountered. The ink doesn't even stick to the advertised 500+ pages despite being "XL". Maybe if you print a single one. there would be so many on each side. - At least twice DRM with original HP inks failed on the cartridge and messages appeared warning of massive chaos and destruction if FULL HP inks are not immediately inserted. Because only HP Black Fluid is suitable for your paper. The HP warning actually informed my relatives that using any other black liquid could result in them catching the worst strain of Covid-19 and leaving their children without parents. I also think HP has a "Terms of Service" clause that says they get the entire legacy unless you use GENUINE HP inks in their printers. If you have two identical printers, don't expect it to be a piece of cake. Stroll. Expect to have to walk your family through reinstalling a printer every time they want to use a different one.
